HOLLY PUPPY

Mama Julee is getting down the pike to end her mothering duties and entering her pampered pet stage of life (her bio separate). She is already taking advantage of time away from the puppies to take a peaceful snooze on her couch.  Five puppies have all found their futures homes, however, Holly's home is still under consideration.  Puppies will not be available until after February 17th. 

Holly is an adorable purebred female sable merle sheltie that was born 12-23-21.  She will need to be placed on a spay contract to be spayed at 6 months of age (6-23-22), thus, no long distance adoptions.  She will have age appropriate vaccinations (remainder will need to be completed by adopter). She has had regular worming and had her dewclaws removed.  

Requirements specific to adopt Holly: 

1) Because she will hopefully have 15+ years of life ahead of her, she will be placed in an age appropriate home.  Don't we all wish we'd live to be 100?

2) A "willing caretaker" member of the adoptive family at home the majority of the day.

3) No children under the age of 8.

4) We adore and respect senior pets; therefore, no consideration will be given to homes with senior pets that would not enjoy being pestered by puppyish behavior and shark teeth.

5) No active/larger puppies/adult dogs that could injure her accidentally.  She would LOVE to have another sheltie playmate.

6) A very securely fenced yard.  Keep in mind, it may need temporarily modified due to her tiny size. We recommend the use of an exercise pen. 

7) Extra credit goes to applicants that have previous sheltie experience, have done and/or willing to do formal obedience training in a timely manner.

8) Adoption fee is $350.00 with an additional $100 refundable spay contract fee. 

PUPPIES ARE ADORABLE......they are just not for everyone.
