UPDATE: 

 

YODA'S JOINED SANCTUARY STATUS HERE AT SHELTIE SHACK RESCUE WITH HIS FOSTER FAMILY.  HE ASKS SO LITTLE AND GIVES SO MUCH AND WITH LITTLE INTEREST IN ADOPTING SENIOR PETS AND SINCE YODA  ALREADY FEELS HE IS AT HOME HERE, WE WILL MAKE THAT WISH A REALITY FOR HIM AND CONTINUE TO TELL HIM JUST HOW MUCH HE'S LOVED AS WE TAKE TIME TO SNUGGLE IN THE RECLINER WITH HIM TO TAKE A NAP.

YODA  is one of those shelties that leaves a smile on everyone's face when they meet him...his personality is just terrific.   He was slated for euthansia at a Missouri Shelter until we spoke up for him....and we're so glad we did, he's a daily enjoyment.  He loves to GO.....just ask him and he's front and center waiting for his leash to be clipped on.....and OFF WE GO.  He loves to perch on a couch or on his toddler bed.  Although completely vetted, his lab work indicated he had a low Thyroid level and we're in the process of regulating the dosage  he will need to maintain a healthy level.  This is not an uncommon health concern with shelties, but it's certainly easy rememdied  with a very cheap daily presciption...and he's a PRO at taking his pill.
